Strong vocalist and Guitarist who prefers to present a live show using foot stomps for percussion. A large repertoire of original music, also popular classic rock and pop songs from the 60’sto present day. John can calm the audience in an intimate setting with classic ballads and originals using the soft wooden tones of nylon acoustic strings. He also cuts loose when booked for large functions and clubs using accompaniment of high quality midi files for bass and drums. John can fill a dance floor. For his original songs John has developed his own unique blend of retro rock.

Originally from Ireland John came to Newcastle in 1979. John’s love of singing and performing began after being chosen to represent his school at the Eisteddfods, singing solo in the Sydney Opera House at age 15. Around the same time he picked up the guitar and he’s been playing rhythm guitar and singing ever since.
John was front man and lead singer in various bands in the 80’s such as ‘Axe’ ‘Harlequin’ and ‘Hidden Extras’ of which they were the opening band for the likes of ‘Cold Chisel’ ‘Dragon’ and ‘The Models’.
Influenced by The Beatles, Roy Orbison, John Lennon, Neil Young, Smashing Pumpkins, David Bowie and Bob Dylan, John has been writing his own original songs form 16 year of age.
John is currently in the studio recording his own original songs. He has just completed his first music video to his original song ‘Cold Sweat’.
